We have initiated bio-acoustics research in Goa. Equipment recommended by Cornell Lab of Ornithology are used in recording bird calls. One project looks at species wise call recording and archiving whereas another project studies the soundscapes in forest habitats. The base of both the projects is Nature's Nest Goa at the base of the Western Ghats in Goa and touching the Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary.
